PowerSchool Family accounts are not created by default. Schools will send home information for families to create their own PowerSchool. If you have not received that information - Contact your student's school. The school will provide two pieces of information:
ACCESS ID
ACCESS PASSWORD
These codes are specific to your student. After creating your PowerSchool account - You will enter these codes to attach your student to your account. In this fashion, you can also attach your other students to this same account.
This is the landing page for Student and Family accounts and it holds a wealth of information at a glance. including attendance (Live), currently enrolled courses, grades per term and accumulated Absences and Tardies.
Attendance Information - Blank space indicates the Student was marked Present. A small dot indicates that class was not in session that day. Any letter correlates to the adjacent code which is listed along the bottom of the screen (A - Absent, T - Tardy).
Course Information - Course name, Teacher name (Linked for email) and Room number
Grade Section - Shows grades for the school specific term. It is a clickable link that will give more detailed information about the grade along with any teacher comments or section description information.
Absences/Tardies - Shows accumulated absences and tardies for the student. It is a clickable link that will give information about the date the student was marked absent/tardy.
Used for updating Account Information as well as adding Students to your Family Profile.
