The Lewis High School PTSA is proud to sponsor a 3-hour program that focuses on the essential test-taking strategies, including the Do's and Don'ts necessary to do well on the SAT. 

This session is ideal for students who have had no preparation in any form or as a refresher for students who have previously completed an SAT or ACT preparation course.

The SAT Quick Prep Course is open to all Lewis High School seniors, juniors, and sophomores, but is limited to 20 people.

All attendees must follow FCPS Student Rights and Responsibilities (SR&R) during the SAT Quick Prep Course. No transportation will be provided.

The course will be led by the owner and director of The Hunt Course. An experienced educator, he has served as an administrator, coach and counselor during his 46 year career. Mr. Mayo holds a M.Ed. from the Curry School of Education at the University of Virginia, and he also serves as an adjunct instructor at the University of Virginia, Northern Virginia Center. He has personally tutored and counseled over 500 students for the SAT since 1976.
