Parents,
The slides practice some things that we work on in Kindergarten-ending word sounds, rhyming, syllables(how many parts in a word-elephant has el-e-phant so 3 syllables). These slides aren't correcting so you will have to watch to make sure they get the right answers. Also your child can either point to the right answer OR after you open it you have to go into settings and then click on "open editor". This will allow your child to drag the star over to the correct answer. Thank you! If you have a question of what some of the pictures are let me know! (I had a hard time with the rhyming page(wet, vet) :)
Happy Monday! In Kindergarten it is important that we know about numbers and "more, less, or equal". This week for math play the game "Rock, Paper, Scissors". It's like "Rock, Paper, Scissors" but without worrying about scissors, paper, or rocks. When you say "shoot" each person holds up whatever number of fingers they want. Look to figure out who has more fingers out, who has less fingers out! Write the numbers for practice! Let me know if you need more directions! If it's easy for your child you can also use it to practice adding the two numbers together!
