About Me

I have been teaching for over 17 years, and I love it a little more every day. Over the years, I have taught everything from 7th grade English to 12th grade English and even inclusion Global History. I have also coached many different sports including junior high basketball, softball, soccer, badminton, volleyball, and tennis. More recently, I have joined the WJES Salk TV News where students and I create weekly video announcements. I am having so much fun filming and editing with the club. When I am not devoting all my time and energy to my fabulous students, I enjoy spending quiet nights at home with family. My husband and I have two adorable daughters named Peyton and Camryn and an energetic pup named Ollie. We love to hike, swim, surf, travel, and game as a family! I also love football, go Dolphins; musicals; the ocean; coffee; pizza; brownies; and puppies!
