About Me

I have been teaching for over 19 years, and I love it a little more every day. Over the years, I have taught everything from 7th grade English to 12th grade English and even inclusion Global History. I have also coached many different sports including junior high basketball, softball, soccer, badminton, volleyball, and tennis. More recently, I was the advisor and editor for the WJES Salk TV News: Salk's weekly video announcements. I had so much fun filming and editing with the team, and I am looking forward to all of the new content Ms. Soguero and Mrs. P will create with our talented students! Outside of school, I enjoy spending quiet nights at home with family. My husband and I have two daughters named Peyton and Camryn and an energetic pup named Ollie. We love to hike, swim, surf,  travel, and game as a family! I also love football, go Dolphins; musicals; ping pong; the ocean; Disney World; coffee; pizza; brownies; and puppies!
