France has mountain ranges, plains, and valleys.
There are 3 main mountain ranges in France: the Alps, the Pyrenées and the Massif Central. The Massif Central used to be a super volcano like Yellowstone.
There are 2 big plains: the Bassin Parisien, where Paris is located, and the Bassin Aquitain, which is located in the southwest of France.
There is at least one famous valley in France: the Valée du Rhônes. The Rhône is a big river in the south of France.
There are two oceans next to France, The Atlantic ocean and the Mediterranean sea. There are many rivers that go through France. The Seine is the most well known in France because the first stage of Paris, that is now called Ile-de-la Cité, was built on an Island in the middle of the Seine. Then there’s the Loire, Garonnes, and the Rhône river.
