Fiji has many landforms of all shapes and sizes. Some are huge Volcanoes, others as very small Coral Reefs. Fiji is very well know for its beautiful islands, over 300 of them. About 100 of those islands are inhabited.
Fiji also has amazing mountains to climb. Mount Tomanivi is the tallest mountain of Fiji. If you ever go to Fiji, I know you will go hiking on one of the amazing, beautiful, terrific mountains.
Fiji has three very large volcanoes. The first largest volcano of Fiji is Taveuni, which is the third largest island of Fiji after Viti Levu and Vanau Levu. The second largest volcano of Fiji is Koro Islands. The third largest is Nabukelevu. All three of these volcanoes are located in the South West end of Kadavu Islands.
In Fiji there is an area of 6,000 square miles of coral reefs. Of all the coral reefs in Fiji there are 298 species of hard coral, 1,198 species of reef fish and 467 species of mollusks. These beautiful coral reefs draw lots of tourists from across the world for snorkeling and scuba diving.
There are a lot of famous human and natural made sites on Fiji. Here is a list of some famous natural and human made sites: Kula Eco Park, Natadola Beach, Sabeto Hot Springs, Mud Pools, Coral Reefs, Reefs, Beqa Lagoon, Lavena Coastal Walk, Vuda Point Marina, Sri Siva Subramaniya Temple, Navua River, Sigatoka Sand Dunes National Park, Fiji Museum, Bouma National Heritage Park, and Garden of The Sleeping Giant.
The Sri Siva Subramaniya Temple is important because it is one of a few places outside of India where you can practice traditional Hinduism, and see traditional Dravidian architecture. Hinduism makes up almost 30% of the population.
Kula Eco Park has Fiji's only native land mammal, the Fijian flying fox. It also has lots of quarrelsome kula parrots which are Fiji’s national bird and the park's namesake.
