Our Lessons

Let’s Study Eikaiwa School offers quality education with both online and face-to-face lessons.
Our goal is to maximize each student’s learning by meeting their individual needs.

We offer English classes for children (ages 6 and up), young teenagers and high school students.
Our courses are focused on students who attend Japanese schools, regardless of nationality.

For adults, we offer Business English, designed to improve practical communication skills for the workplace.

We also provide preparation courses for TOEFL,TOEIC, TEAP, and EIKEN.

Our small-group classes — up to six students for children, and up to four students for teens and high school students — allow us to strengthen speaking and listening skills while also developing reading and grammar.

Ours Courses

Kids (6 ~11 years of age)

Our goal is to encourage students to interact and have fun, motivating communication in English and, consequently, increasing their level of knowledge. Our classes are fun dynamic, as we believe that teaching through games and music facilitates and stimulates children's learning.

Pre Teens ~ Teens (12 ~15 years of age)

Our Pre Teens & Teens Courses offer dynamic, interactive lessons that help students build strong communication skills in a supportive learning environment. All classes are taught face to face, allowing students to practice real conversation, receive immediate feedback, and gain confidence step by step.

At this stage, we also begin EIKEN preparation (from age 12), helping students develop the vocabulary, reading, and speaking skills they need for success in higher-level exams.
Our carefully designed lessons keep students motivated, engaged, and proud of their progress.

High School Students (16 years of age ~)

For high school students who need English for daily life or professional development, we offer dynamic classes with plenty of conversation and materials that build all skills: speaking, grammar, reading, and listening comprehension.

At this stage, students can choose to continue their daily conversation course or take specialized classes for higher-level EIKEN, TOEFL or TOEIC.

Business English

Our Business English course is designed for adults who need practical, workplace-focused communication skills. Classes are held face to face, allowing students to practice real-life speaking situations with immediate feedback.

Students learn how to communicate confidently in professional environments through activities such as presentations, meetings, small talk, emails, negotiations, and problem-solving tasks.
The course also develops essential skills in listening, reading, and business-related vocabulary.

This program is ideal for professionals who want to improve their English for career advancement, job opportunities, or everyday work communication.

EIKEN Preparation Course

We offer EIKEN preparation courses through face-to-face and online lessons, allowing students to choose the learning style that best fits their schedule and needs.

Our classes focus on speaking, listening, reading, writing, and vocabulary, along with clear explanations of the exam format, question types, and effective test strategies. Students practice regularly and receive personalized feedback to build accuracy, confidence, and fluency.

We usually support students from EIKEN Grade 3 through Grade 1, including Pre-2 Plus and higher levels, helping learners progress step by step according to their age and goals.

With small-group instruction and carefully designed lessons, students develop the practical English skills needed not only to pass EIKEN, but also to use English confidently in school and everyday life.

TOEFL Preparation

The TOEFL iBT® is one of the most widely recognized English proficiency tests for students in Japan who plan to study abroad or enter international programs. It measures real academic English skills, including reading, listening, speaking, and writing.

In Japan, the TOEFL iBT® is taken mainly at official test centers, ensuring a secure testing environment and globally trusted results. TOEFL scores are accepted by universities and institutions worldwide, making the test a strong choice for students aiming for overseas study, exchange programs, or English-medium education.

Our TOEFL preparation classes focus on test strategies, academic vocabulary, and practical skills, helping students build confidence and achieve their target scores.

TEAP Preparation

We offer TEAP preparation lessons designed for high school students who plan to enter university in Japan and need strong academic English skills.

Our classes focus on the four key skills tested in TEAP — reading, listening, writing, and speaking — with practical training based on real academic contexts such as lectures, classroom discussions, academic texts, and written assignments.

Students develop academic vocabulary, effective reading strategies, clear writing structure, and the speaking confidence needed to express ideas logically and accurately. Lessons also include guidance on test format, question types, and scoring expectations, helping students approach the exam with confidence.

TEAP scores are widely used by Japanese universities as part of the entrance examination process, and our course supports students who aim to improve their academic English and prepare for university admission.

Meet Your English Teacher

All lessons at Let’s Study Eikaiwa School are taught by an experienced and fully qualified teacher, allowing students to benefit from consistent teaching methods and individual attention.

In addition, our school is supported by a bilingual team member who assists with translations, ensuring a reliable and well-organized learning environment.

My name is Juliana Kawauchi. I am Brazilian and grew up in Florida, USA.

I hold a degree in Biological Science and have over 23 years of experience teaching English. I am certified by City & Guilds with an Expert Level Diploma, and I also hold a TESOL certification.

I specialize in supporting students who attend Japanese schools, helping them build practical communication skills and prepare for exams such as EIKEN, TOEFL, TOEIC, and TEAP.

I enjoy teaching learners of all ages, from young children to adults, and I believe students learn best in a supportive environment where they feel comfortable speaking and growing in confidence.

I'm Rieko Ohta. I love to travel and I like getting to know new people and other cultures. I've been to Oregon in the U.S.A to study English and to Vienna in Austria to study German. have been teaching English for 6 years now. I have experience with young children, teens and adults. I teach in English in the class, but I can also provide support in Japanese if they need. I hope my students enjoy learning English with me and to like English more at Let's study Eikaiwa School.
