Hi, my name is Alissa and I am the owner of Let's Get Organized.

Although my passion has always been organizing, I actually didn't pursue this path until I was in my 40s.  Prior to owning my business I was in the banking industry for 20 years, starting in the field right after graduating college.  Beginning as a teller and moving my way up into management exposed me to many aspects of banking---one of those areas being business banking where I learned and fell in love with the ins and outs of owning a business from a financial perspective.  

So when I decided to venture on my own, with the loving support of my husband, Matt, it seemed an obvious choice.  Looking back, my passion for organization started as a young child. While most children played with their toys, I received enjoyment by organizing my toys into like categories and then lining them up in a row.  Perhaps this behavior seemed strange to most, but to me it was extremely satisfying knowing that my little plastic animals were all together neatly arranged.  Today I have molded that once peculiar behavior into a business where I help others achieve their goals through organization. From a junk drawer to an entire room I can transform any area  into one that is both functional and pretty!
