My personal experience on the Internet
The internet is a massive place, an entire world in of itself. I've spent many thousands of hours on the Internet, and I do not regret it. It has made my life easier (Google), and harder (Google Classroom). The first couple years of my use of the Internet were rough. I fumbled my way around and barely knew how to utilize it properly. I mostly used it to play games at the time, and even now I still do. It took some time to learn how to protect myself on the internet, but I am glad that I spent the time and effort. I am proud to say that I have never installed malware.
The time I spent online has really helped my personal development. I went from constantly swearing at people to respecting others online (tasteful trashtalking). It is the internet where I learned how to respect other people. Online video games have been a wild journey. Being cyberbullied in the past and now being the one doing the cyberbullying (in good spirits). The internet will teach you a lot of things, and perhaps the most important of them is being a better person.
