The Final Project of the Tyrannical Union: Wannsee Conference

80 years ago, on this day, January 20, the Wannsee Conference was held by the senior government officials of Nazi, Germany, and the Schutzstaffel party, which was conducted on the Berlin Suburb of Wannsee. This event reminds us of the horrors of war, and the lost lives of those who were victimized by this chaotic event.

In the conference, the administrative leaders of each organization were planning a mass genocide against the Jews by deporting them to the occupied parts of Poland to be murdered. Reinhard Heydrich, a high-ranking German SS during the Nazi Era, drafted the plan to round up and send the Jews to extermination camps where they would be killed. They planned to scout out areas around Europe and capture the Jews to be sent to the concentration camps. Nazi, Germany was desperate to take down and capture the Allied party because of the declaration of war against the United States.

The Allied Forces reduced the killings and prevented the concentration camps from victimizing more Jews. This feat single-handedly saved roughly 8 Million Jews from the scouted areas of the Nazi Government. On the other hand, 3 million Jews were killed grievously by the said “Final Solution” of the Tyrannical Government of Germany.

This event will forever remind us about the bitterness and sorrowful outcomes of war. War is a tragic and heart-wrenching event where the concept of victory is an illusion to cover for those lost.
