March 2, 2020 marked the launching of the Women's Month Celebration that took place at the Salon de Actos with the theme, "We Make Change Work for Women." The event was graced by the presence of administrators, staff, teachers and letranites who were encouraged to wear purple as support to the celebration.

The meaningful event started with the opening remarks of Ms. Maria Jessa Tenero, chairperson of the Women's Ad Hoc Committee in which she highlighted the importance of the role of women in the society, "Women were considered as a 2nd class gender and today we celebrate the courage of women to stand before the world, to be recognized again."

There after, the Letran Creative Hub made and presented a video interview of male employees entitled "Ganyan ang Babae". More so, a significant exhibit was presented as well thru the pictures of exemplary ladies from different departments of the Colegio to commemorate the event.

Some time later, women were serenaded by Julian Angelo Villarta of Grade 11 STEM C while members of the gender equality club handed out roses to the teachers and to some students as well. While being entertained, a simple feast took place while lucky raffle winners were chosen from students and teachers in which they were given goods from various sponsors such as, Black Beauty, Isuitch Spa, Coziest, and Mary Kay.

Subsequently, Mary Kay Skincare Class was held and was facilitated by the speaker Ms. Marfe Antoniette B. Malarri, who happened to be a Mary Kay Independent Beauty Consultant. Chosen students used various masks and cosmetics to make them feel confident about themselves.

Next comes the 2nd speaker who talked about the importance of self love, Ms. Erin Bautista Medalla. She emphasized that self love is more than taking a bubble bath and listening to music. It's a lot of work and it involves responsibility, discipline and self awareness.

Lastly, the 3rd speaker is Sir Mike Tagle who is the CEO of MTP Production. He introduced unique plus-sized models and talked about their experiences. They did a short fashion show with some letranites who have shown their talents in walking down the runway.
