Parent Expectations
Research shows that students achieve at higher levels when parents are involved in the educational process of their children. Parents are expected to be partners with teachers and the principal to create this success. It is essential that parents set at home expectations and provide a space dedicated for your child’s learning. Below are specific actions parents can take to support their child while attending an online school.
Encourage and support independent learning and student agency
Partner with the school and child to be a good digital citizen
Contribute to a positive online climate by creating a distraction free environment during school hours as well as reaching out to teachers via email rather than during classroom instruction
Provide the required technology and internet access for your child to be successful
Calling in Student Absences -
If your student will be absent for any class period, for any reason (including Internet outages), please call the attendance line at 623-547-4000 and leave the following information:
date of absence
Class periods or time of day student will be absent
student first and last name
reason for absence
person reporting absence with contact information in case of questions

Progress Reports and Report Cards
This year we are excited to announce that all 3rd - 8th grade midterms report cards and KG - 8th grade quarter report cards will be available to view in your ParentVue account. Litchfield School District will not be sending home a paper copy. Please take a moment to make sure you are able to log into your ParentVue account. If you have not set up a ParentVUE account with us, you should have received an email with a link to create your account.
