I am the K-12 Principal for the Leopold R-III School District
I began my career as an educator in 2004 in the Special School District of Saint Louis County. I learned a great deal from my cohorts and students in the city. After time in Saint Louis, I moved closer to home to work for Perry County District #32 in Perryville, MO. I spent several years working with some wonderful people and students within Perry County. I made the decision to leave their school system and family and come back "home" to Leopold in 2012. I taught special services for our district for 7 years before moving to serve as principal in 2019.
I live with my husband Alan and our two sons, Cohen and Finn along with our dachshund Clark, who really runs the house.
I enjoy traveling with my family to new places. We are big Mizzou fans and try to make all the home football games we can in COMO! I love to cook and enjoy trying new foods. I truly enjoy watching our students participate in any and all activities for our school, so you can find me at most events.
There are many things I can list about Leopold R-III that make it great. Working in a small district feels like being part of a family. You get to know the students, parents, and staff. It makes the work deeply rewarding, and I am proud to be a Wildcat!
