Advanced Placement Calculus BC is a full year course that is comparable to the second calculus course offered in colleges and universities. It is expected that students registered for this course will seek college credit and placement through the AP exam in May. The course, which requires extensive use of a TI-84 graphing calculator or above, involves applying derivative and integral techniques to solving practical applications in science, business, and other disciplines, and will combine theory, pedagogy and design to master these concepts. The primary focus of this course will be preparing students for the AP exam.
