Year 3 and Year 5 Carol Concert
Our annual Carol Concert took place this week and was, as always, a resounding success. The school playground was filled with the joyous sounds of festive cheer as pupils from Year 3 and Year 5 performed a selection of traditional carols and modern Christmas songs. The children sang beautifully, demonstrating their impressive vocal talents and enthusiasm. The audience were truly captivated by the performances and joined in with gusto for the well-known carols. The Carol Concert was a wonderful opportunity for our school community to come together, showcasing the musical abilities of our pupils and highlighted the importance of shared traditions. Many thanks to all the staff who worked tirelessly to prepare the children for this special occasion, and to our families for their continued support. We look forward to next year's concert already!
Rudolph Run for St Raphaels Hospice
Our recent Reindeer Run Day proved to be a truly festive and heartwarming event. All year groups enthusiastically embraced the 'Rudolph Run' assembly, before participating in the Reindeer Run. Our pupils were filled with excitement and encouragement, creating a wonderful sense of community. Beyond the enjoyment, it was particularly exciting to see our pupils engage in an activity that supported such a worthy cause, which will make a real difference to the patients and families at St Raphael's Hospice.
A huge thank you to all the staff who organised this wonderful day and to the parents for their support. The success of the Reindeer Run embodied the true spirit of the holiday season.
Crystal Palace Youth Team Football Workshop
This week, our Year 5 and Year 6 pupils were fortunate enough to participate in a fantastic workshop delivered by Crystal Palace Football Club's 'Palace for Life' foundation. The session provided a valuable opportunity for pupils to engage in collaborative discussions, sharing their thoughts and ideas on a range of topics. The children thoroughly enjoyed the interactive nature of the workshop and benefited greatly from the expertise of the Palace for Life coaches. We are grateful to the foundation for their continued support in providing enriching experiences for our pupils.
