School Notices and Reminders
Fond Farewells and New Beginnings
On Monday 7th July, we were happy to host our 'Meet the Teacher' event, giving parents/carers and pupils the opportunity to meet and speak to new class teachers. In September we are happy to welcome to the teaching team, Mrs Hill who will be in Year 1. We also welcome Mrs Diaz-Pinto to the Office Administration Team and Mr Reginald who joins the PE team as a Sports Apprentice.
As outlined in the staff changes letter to parents, we say goodbye to some staff at the end of this academic year: Ms Zinczuk (Current Y4 teacher), Mrs Hasan (Current Y5 teacher), Mrs Allchurch (Rec TA) and Mr Martin (Sports Apprentice) who will continue his development at another LEO school. I am sure that you will join us in thanking them for all of their exceptional work and commitment to Manor Park Primary Academy children.
We also say a huge thank you to Mrs. Webb, our Senior Nurture Teaching Assistant, who will be moving into a central Trust position. Mrs. Webb has dedicated an incredible 19 years to our school, consistently providing exceptional support to countless children across all year groups for a variety of reasons, always with immense care and understanding. Her nurturing presence has made a profound difference to so many of our pupils.
Joining her in a central Trust role will be Ms. Laing, our Senior Family Support Worker. Ms. Laing has been an invaluable and constant source of support for our families, offering guidance, assistance, and a compassionate ear whenever needed. Her dedication to ensuring our families feel supported has been truly outstanding.
While we will deeply miss their daily presence and invaluable contributions to our school community, we are incredibly proud that their expertise and dedication have been recognised at a Trust level. They will undoubtedly continue to make a significant positive impact in their new roles, benefiting even more children and families across our Trust.
Please join me in extending our heartfelt thanks and very best wishes to Mrs. Webb and Ms. Laing as they embark on these new chapters.

They brought the magical story to life on stage, captivating the audience with their talent and enthusiasm. The pupils were simply amazing, demonstrating remarkable commitment as they sang and danced with all their hearts. The show was a testament to their collaborative spirit and all the hard work and effort they have put into the year. Finally, they prepared for acrostic poem writing by collaboratively brainstorming descriptive words for each letter of ‘Gruffalo’.
Year 2's Art and Design Highlights!
This week, our Year 2 pupils fully immersed themselves in a range of engaging activities, showcasing their creativity and developing new skills.
Inspired by "The Day the Crayons Quit," pupils created vibrant artwork using various mediums, including paints, felt tips, and colouring pencils. They also engineered fantastic spinning colour wheels, utilising split pins and crayons, as part of their design explorations.

This week, our pupils across Year 3 engaged in a diverse and enriching LEO Arts Week.
Year 3 pupils made fantastic progress in developing their observational drawing techniques. They meticulously studied birds and feathers, utilising a range of materials to enhance their work.
Based on the book, 'After the Fall', exploration of the art work provided an exciting opportunity for pupils to bring their drawings to life through digital animation AI.
Our Year 3 art session also delved into the intersection of art and botany, where pupils explored fantastic printing techniques and they skilfully brought plants to life on paper, producing impressive art pieces.
Year 4 Explore the World of Science and Art!
This week, Year 4 pupils engaged in a diverse range of enriching activities.
