Children are not allowed to bring medication into school including non prescription items like cough sweets) to administer to themselves.
If your child requires medicine during the day, such as antibiotics, please ask your GP to prescribe dose frequencies which enable it to be taken outside school hours i.e before school after school and before bed. Alternatively, parents are welcome to come into school and administer medicines themselves, by arrangement with the office. If a medicine needs to be administered during the school day, please come to the school office to discuss this and complete a permission form.
If your child has an injury that has required hospital treatment (injured arm or leg, bang to the head or similar) please come to the school office on their return to school. We must assess how their injury will need to be managed in school and if anything needs to be put in place to support them.

Manor Park Impress at BETT 2025!
Earlier this week, children from across Key Stage 2 attended the BETT Festival at the EXCEL Centre in London. This was a fantastic opportunity for our pupils to explore the latest technology and developments in education. The children thoroughly enjoyed the experience and were particularly excited to present at the OLEX AI stand. They shared their work on the use of AI to support their writing, feedback, and assessment. The children also interviewed various members of various tech companies and explored all the latest technology on offer to support teaching and learning.
We are incredibly proud of our pupils for their hard work and enthusiasm. They represented our school brilliantly and were a credit to themselves and our community.
Year 6 visit the Science Museum!
Year 6 had a fantastic time exploring the wonders of science at the Science Museum in London! The trip was to support their current topic, "Frozen Kingdom" and develop future knowledge. Our children were by the IMAX cinema as they were transported to the depths of the Arctic Ocean in the incredibly immersive 3D film, "Ocean Odyssey". They were also captivated by the museum's interactive exhibits.
It was a day filled with discovery and learning, bringing their "Frozen Kingdom" studies to life in an unforgettable way. Well done all!

Parenting Support Offer
We know that being a parent can be both rewarding and challenging, and we all need a helping hand at times.
Knowing where to go and who to turn to can be vital to getting that help early and preventing further escalation.
Our parenting support programmes are a source of support for all parents and carers and offer an opportunity to share parenting experiences, develop a greater understanding of child development, build positive relationships and learn skills to deal with challenging behaviour.
What support can I get as a parent/carer and what do we offer in Sutton?
Please see attached information booklet here from the London Borough of Sutton Family Hubs.
