This responsibility necessitates a child protection policy and procedures which are available to view on the website, or a copy can be requested from the School Office. Our designated Child Protection Officers are Ms. Thomas and Ms. Laing. Information may need to be shared with other agencies when there are concerns about a child’s welfare. Manor Park Primary Academy is committed to gender, racial, religion and disability equality in every part of school life.

Nursery Community Needs Analysis
Following the government's recent expansion of working parent entitlements and valuable feedback from our families, Manor Park is reviewing its Nursery provision. We are committed to providing high-quality Early Years Education that meets the changing needs of our community.
To help us in this process, we kindly request that you take a few minutes to complete this short questionnaire.
Your feedback is crucial in shaping the future of our Nursery. We want to ensure that we offer a provision that not only aligns with the needs of working parents but also provides the best possible start for all children in our care. If you would like to contact us please email nurseries@leoacademytrust.co.uk
Even if you don't currently have a child of nursery age, your perspective is valuable. We encourage you to share your thoughts on what would have been beneficial for your family when your children were younger, or what you would find beneficial in the future.

A Special Thank You to F.O.M.P.
Please join us in wishing a huge thank you to FOMP for the fabulous Christmas festivities children across the school have experienced this week.
This week we all experienced a number of festive activities which were provided by FOMP including the annual Christmas Panto; fun Christmas crackers during Christmas lunch and a special visit and gift from Santa Paws.
FOMP have spread Christmas cheer and spirit to all! Thank you for organising these experiences for all of our children and for your kind generosity.
Pantomime - "Peter Pan" Comes to Manor Park
This year's Pantomime, "Peter Pan" was a huge success. The Pantomime was a wonderful experience and the children had lots of fun and laughter throughout the performance. The Playhouse Theatre cast created a fantastic performance getting the children involved; this was a truly enjoyable and festive treat for the children at Manor Park.
The panto was truly amazing and the actors were fabulous. Their performance was entertaining, funny and a complete success in spreading the cheer of Christmas time to all of the children who watched. Thank you to FOMP for this brilliant gift to our children!
Christmas Lunch and Christmas Mufti-Day
On Wednesday the children enjoyed wearing their festive clothes to school. We saw lots of lovely Christmas outfits, including jumpers, hats and accessories. The children also enjoyed their Christmas lunch and pulling crackers and sharing jokes with their friends.
Also a big thank you to the catering team for a lovely meal and to the lunchtime staff for supervising and supporting the children at lunchtime so it all went smoothly.
Thank you to FOMP for organising the mufti day and the crackers, and thank you to all the parents who donated.
Santa Paws Visits Manor Park
Today, Santa Paws and the festive Elves came to visit the children of Manor Park Primary Academy!
Pupils from across the school were all very excited to meet Santa Paws, a.k.a. Lester the Well Being Woofer and ZEO, Mr Perrott's puppy, and his helpers whilst sharing their Christmas wishes for this year's festivities! Santa Paws came with his big bag full of laughter, fun and, of course, a present for every child.
Merry Christmas everyone! HO HO HO!
Christmas Carols at St Raphael's Hospice
Earlier this week, the Manor Park School Choir brought festive joy to the residents of St Raphael's Hospice with a heartwarming performance of Christmas carols and a selection of uplifting songs. The children sang beautifully, their voices filling the hospice with warmth and seasonal cheer. In addition to their musical offerings, the choir members also took the time to personally hand out Christmas cards to the residents, sharing smiles and kind wishes. The visit was a resounding success, bringing comfort and happiness to those spending the festive period at the hospice. The school is immensely proud of the choir's contribution to the community and their demonstration of compassion and goodwill during the Christmas season.
