General School Reminders
Navigating Our Busy Drop-Off and Pick-Up Times
We want to thank all our families for helping make drop-off and pick-up times run smoothly. We know our school playground gets very busy during these periods.
To ensure everyone's safety and well-being, especially our pupils, please keep the following in mind:
Be extra mindful when walking around the school site.
Take your time and be aware of your surroundings.
Watch out for smaller children as the playground can get crowded.
Your cooperation helps us maintain a safe and orderly environment for everyone. Thank you for your understanding and continued support!
Parking Safely Around the School Entrances
Parking is strictly prohibited outside the school gates.
Our children's safety is at risk by anyone who stops on the zigzag lines or on the corner of Warwick and Greyhound Road.
Furthermore, we ask that you do not park in residents' bays or park across driveways. These are clearly marked and reserved for local residents.
Helps us keep our school surroundings clean and tidy by not littering.
Finally, we kindly request that you do not leave your engine running while waiting.
Thank you for your understanding and support.

If you wish to share, confidentially, parents who are using sites inappropriately, please let us know and we a will be happy to speak to them. Wimbledon Wonders with Key Stage 2
This week, a group of pupils were fortunate enough to attend the Wimbledon Championships.
Throughout the day, they witnessed exceptional tennis matches on Court 2.
The pupils also had the opportunity to explore the Wimbledon Tennis Museum.
The visit provided an invaluable experience for all who attended.
It was a truly special and memorable occasion for our school community.
Manor Park Primary Academy Ex-Pupil to Shine at Wimbledon 2025!
Manor Park Primary Academy is excited to share incredibly exciting news with its community, as our ex-pupil, Hannah, was successfully selected to be a Ball Girl at Wimbledon Tennis 2025. This was a phenomenal achievement, as Hannah was chosen from a huge pool of talented young people.
The school expressed immense pride in Hannah's dedication and hard work that led to this incredible opportunity.
Hannah wished to share her thanks to Manor Park Primary Academy for the sporting opportunities she had there.
The school extended its best wishes to Hannah for her time at Wimbledon.
A Huge Congratulations to Our Star Chef, Shirley!
Last Sunday, our Year 5 pupil, Shirley, participated in the Epsom Division Girl-guiding Cooking Competition, where she showcased her impressive culinary talents during the event. Her hard work, creativity, and passion for cooking were evident to the judges.
Shirley's efforts culminated in a first-place victory in the competition. The school community is incredibly proud of her outstanding achievement. Shirley's accomplishment was a wonderful example of excellence outside the classroom. Well done!
Year 1 Explorers and Artists at Morden Hall Park
Year 1 pupils embarked on an engaging trip to Morden Hall Park, where they transformed into plant detectives, exploring and observing local gardens.
Armed with magnifiers, pupils identified various plants, trees, and flowers, showing their knowledge and understanding of botany.
Using viewfinders, pupils identified different plant species and carefully created observational drawings of their chosen plant.
Following their park adventure, Year 1 pupils used their crafting skills to create transient artwork using natural resources.
Many creative ideas were brought to life through thoughtful layering, resulting in diverse and imaginative pieces.
Year 2 Week of Sporting Growth and Achievement
This week, our Year 2 pupils participated in two enriching and engaging sporting events.
Throughout the week, Year 2 took part in the "Listen, Let's Grow" workshop.
During the workshop, pupils explored the importance of active listening and practised mindfulness techniques.
They also demonstrated excellent listening skills and teamwork by making shapes and mirroring their partners.
Several Year 2 pupils also attended the LEO Sports Multi-Skills festival, where they engaged in a variety of sports stations.
These valuable workshops provided pupils with key skills in both physical activity and interpersonal development.
Year 6 Continue to Shine in Their Learning!
Year 6 pupils thoroughly explored Darwin's theory of evolution, including natural selection and survival of the fittest.
They enjoyed the exploration of Darwin's theory which led to our pupils producing a fantastically detailed scientific report.
Earlier this week, the Year 6 pupils participated in the Game Changer workshop, where they focused on educating pupils about child exploitation.
Through engaging activities and powerful discussions, Year 6 pupils gained confidence in identifying and responding to risks.
We would also like to congratulate Mia, from Sapphire class, who was awarded Gymnast of the Month. Mia successfully achieved her 10-meter swimming certificate. Well done!
