Now Press Play

This week we have had a trial of an award-winning immersive audio resource, which aims at engaging primary school children in the curriculum through sound, story and movement.

The children across the school have absolutely loved it and we have seen such high engagement levels. It has been great to see the children drawing on previous learning and making links to enhance their knowledge.

Have a listen to the feedback from two of our year 1 children following immersion in an anti-bullying experience.

Clubs

We are currently looking at our clubs provision and attempting to make it more varied for the children. As part of this we would be keen to get your opinions on what clubs they would attend in Spring term.

Please complete this as soon as possible to help us shape our offer.

Home Learning

We have been so impressed by the home learning projects we have been receiving this term.

Please take a look at the fabulous sarcophagus created out of clay by one of our Year 4 children. We are so impressed by the attention to detail and the effort that she has put in. It was also wonderful to hear her talk about the learning she has been doing this term. Great effort!

Achievements Outside of School

A big well done to Elliot for sharing his achievements in Gymnastics, passing his Grade 3. We are very impressed by your dedication to the sport and your drive to improve. Well done and keep up the good work!

School Lottery

Shawley's school lottery has been set up specifically to raise money and make a difference for our children! It's a fantastic way to bring parents, carers, staff and the wider community together, in partnership with our school, and at the same time give something back. We hope to raise funds that can support and enrich the education of our children - we aim to provide extra resources for the children, improve the school environment as well as run extracurricular activities such as music, art and sport.

Join today! Click here to access the Your School Lottery website to learn more about how it works and how to join.

Your support is greatly appreciated and we wish you good luck!
