This week we are going to focus on a delightful story called 'Where's my Teddy?' written and illustrated by Jez Alborough. This story is about a little boy called Eddy who has lost his teddy and he goes to the woods to try to find it.

You may want to get cosy and choose one of your toys to join you!
Can you create a teddy bears picnic at home?
How many toys will you invite?
How many plates and cups will you need?
Can you write an invitation to your teddy bears picnic using your phonics sounds?
Can you practise your counting?

This game will help you to recognise the number so that you know how many cupcakes to feed the bear.
Can you make a sandwich for your teddy bears picnic?
Ask a grown up to help you to make a delicious sandwich.
You might like to make a cheese sandwich or maybe a jam sandwich!
What ingredients are you gong to need?
Can you help to butter the bread and cut the sandwiches carefully into triangles?
Can you create your own teddy bear?
Ask a grown up to help you to draw or cut out an outline of bear?
Can you now add eyes, a nose and a mouth to the bears face?
Can you draw some clothes for the bear and decorate them with different patterns and colours?
You could use pens, paint, colouring pencils or maybe you could collage using tissue paper.

Can you create your own bear cave and go on your own adventure?
You could cover a tent or a large cardboard box with a sheet to make your very own cave.
Think about what you will need for your adventure: a torch, binoculars, a map and maybe even some yummy snacks.
