We wish you all a wonderful summer break!
Good luck to our year 6's who are leaving us and moving on to their new secondary schools.
We look forward to seeing you all in September!
School returns on Wednesday 3rd September.
Please see our Year 6 SATs results below. In May, they took these statutory assessments in Grammar, Punctuation and Spelling, Maths and Reading. The writing score is based on teacher assessment.
Well done to all of the children. We are exceptionally proud of you and recognise your hard work and perseverance.
Thank you to all of the teachers, learning support assistants and parents for your ongoing support for the children.
Even more importantly, we are confident that their time at Cheam Park Farm has helped them develop into kind, confident and well-rounded individuals.

The uniform shop now stocks uniform with our new school logo. This is now available via the SchoolWearInc website.
Any current school uniform (featuring our old logo) will still be able to be worn until your child has grown out of it.
Current uniform is currently being sold at a discounted price from the uniform shop. This has since been reduced again.
As you are aware, in line with the new LEO uniform policy, all children should be wearing black school shoes rather than trainers as part of their school uniform. Please ensure that you do not purchase black trainers to be your child's school shoe for September.
Free School Uniforms
Sutton Community Uniform Bank provides free school uniforms for 4 - 18 year olds (they are unable to provide footwear). There is no eligibility to use this service (it is open to anyone with a child or young person who needs a school uniform).
Naming uniforms
Please can you ensure that all of your child's belongings are named.
Haircuts
You will be aware that our school uniform policy states no extreme haircuts. We have noticed that some children have had logos or letters shaved into their hair. This is not allowed under our school policy.
Jewellery such as rings, earrings or bracelets are not to be worn to school. In pierced ears, a plain round stud may be worn but must be removed for physical activities (including dance, gymnastics and swimming). We allow children to wear watches but they remain the responsibility of the child at all times. For safety reasons, long hair should be tied back at all times. Any hair accessories must be of the school colours and should be fit for purpose (i.e. not a fashion statement). No extreme styles of haircuts or eyebrow shavings are allowed. Hair must be of a natural colour and not dyed. Make-up and nail varnish are not allowed to be worn at school at any time.
We pride ourselves on offering our children varied and exciting experiences that help to support their learning of the curriculum. The School Fund will allow us to provide additional activities, school visits and enrichment opportunities across all year groups.
We have a voluntary school fund donation of £10 a term / £30 a year per child or £40 for a family if there are siblings at the school. We are aware of the current cost of living crisis and any donation will be gratefully received.
Parents can make payments for the School Fund online through our Arbor payment system. Simply log in to the parent portal and navigate to your child's home screen, then visit the school shop. From there, you can choose the appropriate school fund option based on your needs. You also have the flexibility to purchase multiple school funds. The available options are: School Fund - £10 per term, School Fund - £30 per year for each child, and School Fund - £40 per family for siblings attending the school.
We would like to thank you for your continued support.
A guide for parents: Transitioning from Primary to Secondary school
Starting a new school, with new teachers and classmates can be a very daunting and overwhelming thing. With that said, it is also a very exciting time and a big milestone which every young person experiences.
As a parent it is in our best interest to support our children through these unfamiliar times, therefore focusing on exciting opportunities such as: new subjects, activities and friends. Celebrating the milestone of finishing primary school, and all the ways they have grown, can really boost their self-esteem and confidence.
I understand that many of us may not have had a great school experience and the negative, worrying feelings that our children display could then trigger us and bring up some unwanted feelings and thoughts. Rest assured that you are not alone, we have all had some form of bad experience in our school days, but so long as we are encouraging and understanding, our children should feel at ease which will also be helpful for us as adults and parents.
