SPORTS DAY
YEAR 3 DRUMMING
Monday 8th July
Year 3 are excited to showcase their final drumming performance on Monday. You can access the hall 5 mins before the performances start via the car park entrance.
Amber:
Arrive at 1:55
Performance 2:00 - 2:15
Emerald:
Arrive at 2:40
Performance 2:45 - 3:00 (Children will be dismissed at normal time)
Access the school via the bottom gates (Stoughton Avenue).
YEAR 6 IMPORTANT DATES
Monday 8th July & Tuesday 9th July
Year 6 production at 6.00pm - 8.15pm - Star Warts!
Please can the children be at school at 5.30pm - access through the main office.
Due to the later finishing time all children must be picked up by an adult from the school office.
Drinks will be available during the interval - any cash “donations'' offered will be very much appreciated by the children. The money raised will be used to buy ice creams on the Isle of Wight and towards a cooking activity/ice cream for those children not going.
Wednesday 10th July - Leavers Assembly - 2:00pm start - Hall - Access via Stoughton gate from 1:45pm bring tissues along! We will dismiss the children from the playground at the usual time.
Thursday 11th July - Year 6 Fun Day
Children will stay in school at the end of the day until 6.30pm. Please note that the cost of the Funday is £5 to cover the activities and food, which must be paid for your child to attend. Please pay on Arbor. If you do not wish your child to attend, please collect them at 2pm on Thursday 11th.
During this time, we will:
Enjoy Year 6 vs teachers football and netball matches
Have a photo booth
Take part in a bouncy castle obstacle course
Have a Water Fight
Enjoy some food!
The children should come to school on this day wearing comfortable clothes that they do not mind getting wet or dirty whilst taking part in the above activities. We would highly recommend wearing trainers as we will be spending a lot of time on the field, MUGA and playground. As well as this, they should bring any water pistols they would like to use for our water fight! Please ensure your child brings a change of clothes and shoes to wear after the water fight and a towel.
Due to the later finishing time, we will not be allowing any children to walk home by themselves - they will need to be collected by an adult from the school office at 6.30pm.

Please make sure your child brings their shirt for signing to school by Wednesday 10th July.

We, and the children, are incredibly excited about these activities to celebrate the end of their Cheam Fields journey.

NEW TO YEAR 3 MEETING
Thursday 5th September at 5pm
Save the Date - Welcome to Year 3 Meeting (Including 1:1 Chromebook and Online Safety)
On Thursday 5th September at 5pm, you are invited to a welcome to Year 3 parent meeting. This will take place in the hall.
This meeting will give you more information about the Year 3 curriculum as well as providing you with information about the 1:1 Chromebook project which gives pupils access to a chromebook to support them with their learning both in school and at home.
The meeting will also cover the measures we have in place to keep children safe online when in school and what you can do at home.
In order to provide your child with a device, we politely request that you complete a form to give your consent. This form will be made available in the meeting so it is important that you attend if you are able to.
