YEAR 2 TIME TRAVELLER WORKSHOP
Thursday 30th November 23
To support the learning that we have been doing in our History lessons so far this year on Significant Individuals, we have arranged a fantastic 'Time Travellers' History workshop to take place in school this half term. In this workshop, the children will travel back in time to meet the explorers Neil Armstrong and Christopher Columbus, learning more about the voyages that they took.
If you have any questions or concerns, please contact your child's class teacher or the office.
The cost of the workshop is £5 and can be paid through Arbor/Activities/Trips.
Many thanks,
The Year 2 Team
YEAR 1 MAGICAL TOY WORKSHOP
Tuesday 5th December
As part of the children’s topic, 'The Magic Toymaker’, for this half term, we have arranged a 'Magic Toy Museum' workshop to take place in school.
In this interactive workshop, the children will meet someone impersonating a museum curator, using drama activities such as role play and tableaux to explore various different types of toys. The children will visit different rooms in the ‘museum’ to find out about different types of toys from the past century or so.
The cost of the Trip is £5 and needs to be paid by Friday 17th November
Please log onto your child's Arbor account to make payment under Activities/Trips.

ST RAPHAELS "RUDOLPH RUN"
Friday 15th December
As part of our Christmas celebrations we will be taking part in the St Raphael's Hospice "Rudolph Run" on Friday 15th December. Children can come to school in Christmas mufti suitable for running.
The money raised will help St Raphael’s to provide exceptional end of life care to almost 1,000 patients and their families every year who live in Merton & Sutton. 75% of their running costs rely on the incredible support and generosity of the community. During this difficult time for all of us, they need you now more than ever.
Please click here to donate or alternatively a paper form will be in the book bags today.
We really appreciate your support and hope that you’ll have fun helping us raise money for St Raphael’s Hospice.
