CHRISTMAS CARDS NEEDED!
PTFA NEWS
Dear Parents and Carers,
The Little Elves are excited to be coming back to Cheam Fields this year! It's an event that always creates a lot of excitement for the children and it also raises a lot of money for the school, which helps us towards our fundraising target!
The workshop will be open for your children to buy gifts for their grown ups -please see the attached poster for more information.
The Little Elves can only open the workshop if they have enough gifts to wrap....
We need your help!
The Elves need donations of new christmas gifts suitable for adults (no alcohol please!). Please bring your donations to the School Office. If you would prefer, you are welcome to make a monetary donation for the Elves to buy gifts.
If you run a local business, or have any contacts in the area who you think might like to support the Little Elves with either gifts or a monetary donation please contact the Office - any support would be much appreciated!
The Elves also need Elf Helpers to wrap - please click here to sign up to help them!
Gifts are being sold this year via TicketSource, please click here to purchase your gift(s). Please ensure that all the information asked for is completed and that you buy the correct amount of gifts (e.g. if you want a gift each for Mum, Dad and Nannie, please buy 3 gifts)
If you have any questions about The Little Elves Workshop, please contact the Office.
Thank you for your ongoing support,
The PTFA

ILLNESS UPDATE
Dear Parents and Carers,
We have had lots of questions recently about how long children should stay off school if they have been sick or had diarrhoea.
The NHS guidance regarding illness and school attendance states that children with vomiting or diarrhoea (regardless of the cause) should stay home for at least 48 hours after their last episode to prevent the spread of illness. We know that this may be frustrating, however it is important to prevent the spread of illness within the school community.
Please don’t send your child into school if you know that they have been sick.
Please see the attached poster for information from the NHS regarding when you should keep your child at home.
Kind regards
School Office
