We have been made aware of a new Schools Mobile App. The app is designed to protect children from accessing inappropriate material. It offers control over games, apps, websites and does not add incremental data usage. Meaning it won't drain any applicable data plan. The app is also capable of auto-setting YouTube on restricted mode, enforcing safe search and blocking adult, gambling and piracy related content.

CREATIVE CROWNS PARADE
We are challenging our Cheam Fields Children to design and make a creative crown to wear in our Crown Parade. It doesn't matter if it doesn’t look perfect, we are looking for the creativity of the design.
Step 1 Submit their design sheets to their teachers by Wednesday 3rd May.
Step 2 Create your Crown at home and bring it into school for the Parade on Friday 5th May.
The winning crown designer in each year group will receive a prize and certificate.
We are pleased to be able to inform you that Cheam Fields are taking part in an event linked to the coronation, which is being run by Sutton Library.
In order to take part, children are invited to participate in a photography competition, in which they take photographs of the local area to share what Sutton looks like today. The photographs will be sent to Sutton Library, where they may be included in an exhibition for the coronation. For more information, please read the attached slides.
If your child would like to take part, then their photographs, along with the attached consent form (which will ask you to make a copy), will need to be emailed to the school office by no later than Friday 28th April. Any entries received after this time will not be entered.
We look forward to seeing the entries!
