Upcoming Events

LEO Music Week

29th June - 3rd July

What better way to celebrate the last few weeks of the school year than by having our very own LEO Carnival!

During this music themed week you will be able to experience the delights of Carnival.

We may not be able to take our Carnival out onto the streets of Cheam and Sutton but we can certainly try and recreate this in our schools and homes.

There will be singing, dancing, playing, mask making and plenty of other activities for you to enjoy so make sure you join in on 29th June for LEO Academy Trusts very own street party!

LEO Big Arts Week

6th July - 10th July

Arts Week is the perfect way to express yourself and how you have been feeling! The definition of Art is: the product of imagination and creativity, particularly in a physical form. This means that there are many different forms of art: paintings, prints, drawings, sculptures, collage, photography, theatre, poetry, novels, music, dance, film and much more.

We are going to focus on five strands of Art this week: imagery (such as paintings and photography), music, film and theatre, books and dance.

At the start of the week, we will share all of the activities and links so that you can pick and choose which activities you would like to take part in and see which competitions you would like to enter.

Battle of the Books

Year 5 - Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief - Rick Riordan

Half boy. Half God. ALL Hero.

Look, I didn't want to be a half-blood. I never asked to be the son of a Greek God.

I was just a normal kid, going to school, playing basketball, skateboarding. The usual. Until I accidentally vaporized my maths teacher. Now I spend my time battling monsters and generally trying to stay alive.

This is the one where Zeus, God of the Sky, thinks I've stolen his lightning bolt - and making Zeus angry is a very bad idea.
