Firstly, I would like to say well done for supporting your children through a very difficult time. I fully understand the challenges you have faced and overcome.
Secondly, I would like to thank you all for your continued support throughout this year and particularly over the past few months. The children have been a credit to you all and to the school. We are very proud of how they have managed to adapt to distance learning and adjust to new routines.
As you may be aware, the Government have recently released their guidance with regards to the full opening of schools from Monday 8th March. As you can imagine, the work that needs to be completed to ensure this is done safely requires a great deal of planning and preparation. More information about this will be sent home in the next few days.
Finally, we can't wait to welcome everyone back to school on Monday 8th March!
Stay safe until then!
Miss Shaw
Well done Ozzy - great poster!
Well done to everyone who completed work for project 1.
We were really impressed with all your research and the way you presented your learning.
Project 2 is SDG 2. Zero Hunger
Please upload projects to Classroom or Seesaw accounts or email to our school office with SDG in the subject line.
What has happened this week?
World Book Day is fast approaching on Thursday 4th March and although things may be slightly different this year, we will still be spending the day celebrating a range of fantastic books and taking part in some great book related activities.
Whether your child is at school or is learning from home, we would love them to dress up on this day as a book character of their choice! We would love to see their costumes so please make sure you send them in via your year group emails.
Children are never too young to start their journey with books and the benefits of reading are enormous - we are looking forward to another great World Book Day where we can celebrate this.
We can't wait!

Each week we put a brief synopsis of one of our Battle of the Books in the newsletter from a year group’s book list.
Year 3 - The Boy who Grew Dragons - Andy Shepherd
When Tomas discovers a strange old tree at the bottom of his grandad's garden, he doesn't think much of it. But he takes the funny fruit from the tree back into the house - and gets the shock and delight of his life when a tiny dragon hatches! The tree is a dragonfruit tree, and Tomas has got his very own dragon, Flicker ...
Tomas soon finds out that life with Flicker is great fun, but also very ... unpredictable. Yes, dragons are wonderful, but they also set fire to your toothbruth and leave your pants hanging from the TV aerial. Tomas has to learn how to look after Flicker - and quickly. And then something extraordinary happens - more dragonfruits appear on the tree. Tomas is officially growing dragons ...
