Who were they?

Janet and Allan Ahlberg were a husband-and-wife team who wrote and illustrated amazing children's books! They were like a superhero duo of storytelling, with Allan writing the words and Janet drawing the pictures.

Together, they created over 100 books! That's a whole library full of stories! They worked together for 20 years, making books that kids all over the world love to read.

Who was he?

Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart was a super famous musician! He was born a long, long time ago in 1756 in a place called Salzburg, Austria. That's in Europe!  

A Child Prodigy!

Mozart wasn't like most kids. He was a prodigy, which means he was amazingly good at something from a very young age. He started playing music when he was just a little boy, even younger than you! He could play the piano and the violin really well. He even started writing his own music when he was only 5 years old!

Mozart wrote lots and lots of music that people still love to listen to today. Some of his most famous pieces are:  

• Twinkle Twinkle Little Star: Yep, he wrote the tune for that!

• Eine Kleine Nachtmusik: A really beautiful piece of music.

• The Magic Flute: A magical opera with a prince, a princess, and a bird catcher!
