With another extraordinary school year coming to an end, I would like to thank you all for your continued support throughout this year.
As always our pupils have risen to every challenge thrown at them and have once again coped with a year of change and disruption. They are credit to us all!
We say a special goodbye to our Year 6 children as they embark on the next stage of their educational journey. We wish you all the best but please always remember that although you are leaving Cheam Fields Primary Academy, you remain a part of the Cheam Fields family!
The year group inboxes will not be in monitored over the summer, if you wish to contact the school, please do this via the school office email address.
We can't wait to see you all again in September!
Have a safe and enjoyable holiday.
Miss Shaw

Year 5 - The Nowhere Emporium - Ross MacKenzie
When the mysterious Nowhere Emporium arrives in Glasgow, orphan Daniel Holmes stumbles upon it quite by accident. Before long, the 'shop from nowhere' -- and its owner, Mr Silver -- draw Daniel into a breathtaking world of magic and enchantment. Recruited as Mr Silver's apprentice, Daniel learns the secrets of the Emporium's vast labyrinth of passageways and rooms -- rooms that contain wonders beyond anything Daniel has ever imagined. But when Mr Silver disappears, and a shadow from the past threatens everything, the Emporium and all its wonders begin to crumble. Can Daniel save his home, and his new friends, before the Nowhere Emporium is destroyed forever? Ross MacKenzie unleashes a riot of imagination, colour and fantasy in this astonishing adventure, perfect for fans of Philip Pullman, Cornelia Funke and Neil Gaiman.
Over the summer holiday, why not complete one of our activities for our new sustainable development goal, Good Health and Well-being.
Sadiq Khan, the Mayor of London, is searching for helpers for a very exciting new summer job in his team – the Mayors of Play.
He is looking to find up to five lucky young Londoners – between the ages of 8-11 years old – to work alongside him and his team this summer.
Competition winners will be awarded the impressive title of ‘Mayor of Play’! They'll visit him in City Hall, where together they'll create the ultimate guide to family fun in London that will help families from London and across the country enjoy our city. Plus, there will be lots of other fun events and activities during the summer for winners to get involved with – and some prizes for them and their family to enjoy – as a thank you!
If you think this sounds like fun, simply have a go at entering and complete the form with the help of your parent/carer.
Good luck!
