Here, we will be updating you daily on activities the pupils partake in and any important events.

Dates For Your Diary
Monday 26th April - Thursday 29th April - Parent Consultation Meetings
Links for the virtual meetings have been sent in an email.
If you are not sure when your appointment is, please contact the school office.
Friday 30th April - Captain Tom Fundraising Day
On Friday 30th April, pupils will be taking part in a sponsored walk to raise money for Epsom and St Helier Hospitals Charity. LEO schools are joining other schools (not physically of course!) to raise money for this great cause.
This has been inspired by Captain Sir Tom Moore. Friday 30th April would have been his 101st birthday so we think it is a fitting tribute to his dedication and positive outlook on life.
The money raised will be shared between three key areas:
Support health and wellbeing initiatives for the hardworking staff - that might be anything from a buying massage chair to audio equipment to provide calm and uplifting music in their rest areas.
The young walkers will also be putting their sponsorship money towards the £8,000 appeal for a Magic Carpet - an interactive digital resource for COVID-secure touchless play and which can transport young patients to imaginary worlds to help with their treatment as well as entertain them!
The money raised will also support with funding all sorts of medical equipment – from more bladder scanners to x-Ray machines, the possibilities are endless!

Monday 17th May - Friday 21st May
Walk to School Week
For this week, children are encouraged to walk to school as many times as possible. This could mean walking from home or parking further away from the school and walking the rest of the way. Any child who walks to school everyday receives a badge.
To start the week, we would like all children to walk to school in trainers on Monday 17th May. To end the week, the children are allowed to come to school on Friday 21st May in mufti. Watch out for our extra special badge competition to run alongside Walk to School Week!
Please check the dates section regularly as dates may change and new dates will be added.

Year 4 - Charlie Changes into a Chicken - Sam Copeland
Charlie McGuffin has an incredible secret . . .
He can change into animals. All sorts of animals: a flea, a pigeon, even a rhino. Trouble is, he can't decide when - it only happens when he gets worried. And right now, Charlie has quite a lot to worry about: his brother (who is in hospital); his parents (who are panicking about it) and the school bully (who has Charlie in his sights).
And even though every kid wants a superhero power, Charlie isn't keen on changing into a chicken in the middle of the school play. So with the help of his three best friends, Charlie needs to find a way of dealing with his crazy new power - and fast!
