We are sad to say that we are also saying goodbye to two other members of staff at the end of this term.
Miss Bennett is leaving us to work in a school closer to home. She has worked at Cheam Fields for 10 years as a teaching assistant in a variety of year groups across the school. She has also worked closely with lots of children in small groups and on a 1:1 basis. Miss Bennet will be sadly missed but we wish her all the best for the future.
Mrs Camiah is also spreading her wings and moving on to a new school. She has not been with us for long but has been a great part of the team. We wish her good luck for the future.
The definition of Art is: the product of imagination and creativity, particularly in a physical form. This means that there are many different forms of art: paintings, prints, drawings, sculptures, collage, photography, theatre, poetry, novels, music, dance, film and much more.
This year we are basing our work around the environment using four main strands: imagery (such as paintings and photography); books (writing and poetry), music and dance.
To celebrate the end of term, Thursday 22nd July will be a mufti day.
The theme will be rainbow colours. Pupils can wear any colour from the rainbow or clothes with rainbows on them. The more colour the better!

Year 3 - Notso Hotso - Anne Fine
It's a dog's life for Anthony. Not only is he lacking the respect he deserves from the neighbourhood dogs and cats, but suddenly all he can do is scratch, scratch, scratch. And now bits of him are dropping off - yeuch! Just when Anthony thinks things can't get any worse, he finds himself on the vet's table. What she has in mind is about to destroy the tiny shred of street cred he has left...
Sadiq Khan, the Mayor of London, is searching for helpers for a very exciting new summer job in his team – the Mayors of Play.
He is looking to find up to five lucky young Londoners – between the ages of 8-11 years old – to work alongside him and his team this summer.
Competition winners will be awarded the impressive title of ‘Mayor of Play’! They'll visit him in City Hall, where together they'll create the ultimate guide to family fun in London that will help families from London and across the country enjoy our city. Plus, there will be lots of other fun events and activities during the summer for winners to get involved with – and some prizes for them and their family to enjoy – as a thank you!
If you think this sounds like fun, simply have a go at entering and complete the form with the help of your parent/carer.
Good luck!
