If anyone has any unwanted gifts that they would like to donate for this year’s Secret Santa event, please bring them into the School Office. It’s early to be thinking about Christmas but it saves those unwanted pressies from cluttering up your homes!
We would also be grateful for any Christmas jumpers that won’t fit come December for this year’s Christmas Jumper sale.
Monday 30th January was a busy day of football with two tournaments and a girls fixture.
The B Team entered into the Sutton United Kids Cup, they showed some amazing teamwork and resilience throughout.
Well done team we are all so proud!

The Pink Pearls had a game against Westbourne Primary. Their first game back this year and it was like they hadn't stopped. All showed energy from the beginning.
The first half Cheam Fields had most of the possession and had lots of attempts at goal. The girls worked hard throughout and at half time the score was 0-0. Westbourne started the second half with determination, with one player using great footwork to get through our defence and score their first goal.
Cheam Fields kept their heads up and added more pressure, with some lovely team plays and passes which led to Emily scoring a goal.
Both teams kept working hard creating more opportunities. The final whistle blows and the game finishes 1-1. You all showed great collaboration and have shown how much your hard work in training is paying off.
Well done team!
Team - Izabella, Phoebe H, Phoebe C, Sophie, Milly, Talisha, Emily, Niamh and Freya.
Player of the match - Sophie , for great defensive work and creating goal opportunities for the team.
The A team went onto the AFC Wimbledon finals. We came second in our table, getting us through to the semi finals where we played group A top team Honeywell. After keeping the pressure on and some great attempts at goal the game finished 0-0. Then came the penalties, the boys kept their composure and won, getting through to the final. The final game was against fellow LEO trust school Cheam Common Juniors (CCJ).
Again both teams showed great aggression and determination, both teams made brilliant attempts at goal however the game finished 0-0. Penalties again to determine the winners. Both teams gave it their all, but with an important save from the CCJ goalkeeper, CCJ came out on top.
The team came second overall in the tournament today and all showed amazing collaboration and resilience. The team should hold their heads up high. We are all so proud and there are more tournaments to come. To top off the day, 2 Sutton United first team players (Jack Currie and Kwaku Frimpong) came out to say hello and answer some questions.
Well done team!
