Welcome to our weekly newsletter!

Welcome to our new look Cheam Common Junior Newsletter. Within the newsletter, you will find various 'quick links' that will help you navigate the site, making it much easier to find information you require at Cheam Common Junior.

During the start of the term, Cheam Common Junior were joined by members of the Challenge Partner team to undertake a review of the school, including its leadership, quality of provision and outcomes, and quality of provision and outcomes for disadvantaged pupils and those with additional needs. At the end of the review, we are pleased to announce that after a thorough review of evidence, we have been awarded 'Leading' in all areas. Furthermore, due to our ongoing commitment to computing and digital skills to enhance Teaching and Learning, we are pleased to announce that we have been accredited with an 'Area of Excellence' in this field. This a is a great honour and we pleased to be recognised for such an accreditation. Well done and congratulations for such an achievement!

School PE Kits

Polite Request

On Friday 4th February, Friends of Cheam Common will be collecting donations for the Epsom & Ewell Foodbank across both the Infants & Juniors.

Donations can be made during the morning either via the school gate or office.

For a full list of items required and for further information, Click Here.

Please ensure all children bring the correct PE uniform to school and it is labelled with the child's name and class. Children are to wear the following:

White t-shirt or long sleeved top

Red shorts, Black or grey jogging / tracksuit bottoms

Appropriate trainers or plimsolls (no high tops)

Bringing Dogs

DIGI Safe - Keeping Children Safe Online

Should you bring a dog with your during the end of day pick up when collecting your child, we kindly ask that you wait at the school gate and for your child to walk around to meet you or alternatively, ask your child to wait with the teacher, who will walk them to the main gate at the end of the day.
