Cheam Common Junior Awarded Silver Artsmark

Congratulations to Cheam Common Junior, who have been awarded the Silver Artsmark award. Both Miss Briggs and Miss Maclean have worked incredibly hard to help raise the profile of the arts across the school not just within lessons, but by putting on special projects, competitions and clubs, after a detailed submission. As always, we are incredibly proud of their achievement and we look forward to continue to celebrate such excellence throughout the school.

Cheam Common Junior Visit London Squash Tournament

Earlier this week, children from Year 6 were lucky enough to visit the East Winter Garden in Canary Wharf, where they took part in a series of activities, and training sessions as part of the CWC Squash Event.

Children really enjoyed talking to world champion squash players, Joel Makin, Victor Cronin and Nicolas Mueller, before being presented with a signed kit. Thank you to Mr Warner and Mr Ewing for organising such a wonderful experience.
