After 5 exceptional years at Cheam Common Junior, we are very sad to say goodbye to Mrs Oliveira. During her time here, Mrs Oliveira has been an invaluable member of the offce team, often going above and beyond to ensure the smooth running of the school and providing care and support for both teachers and children alike.
We would like to take this opportunity to congratulate Mrs Oliveira on her new job role and we wish her well on her exciting new journey.
This week, our School Council members have been helping collect and organise donations as part of Harvest Festival celebrations.
Thanks to so many of your kind and generous donations, Cheam Common have managed to build up an impression collection of essential goods that our School Council representatives will present to the Sutton Food Bank on Kimpton Road, later this term.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your support.
Should you wish to contribute further, click here to head to the Sutton Food Bank website for further details.
Children played schools from both across the LEO Trust, including Brookfield Primary and Cheam Fields Primary, as well schools from outside the borough (Shawley Community Primary School, Epsom), our Year 6 boys displayed wonderful team work and commitment in each of their matches. Reaching the finals, the boys played spectacularly and won 2 - 1!
Congratulations to all the children who took part and a special mention to our team for winning the first LEO Tournament of the year and a special thank you to Cheam Park Farm Academy for hosting!
Be apart of an exciting exhibition telling a story of climate change and how it has impacts all of us. As part of Sutton's Environmental Strategy, children can write and send a 'letter to earth', explaining how climate change has affected us all and what we can do to make positive changes for our future. Alternatively, draw, design and create your very own 'perfect earth' showing the local community what you think the world should be like!
