Autumn Term Roundup at Cheam Common Junior

As we look back over the last term, we here at Cheam Common Junior are incredibly proud of all our children and what they have achieved in what has been another incredibly busy period. Over the last few weeks, children have been practising their virtual Christmas concerts, which was shared with you all earlier this week. Children performed beautifully and again, under such difficult circumstances, continued to rise to the challenge and produce something they should all be proud of.

We also held various charity fundraising events, where both children and adults came together to help raise much needed money for various charitable causes. During this term alone, we have raised over £1,500 for various causes which is an incredible amount and will go along way to help provide support for those in need. Taking this opportunity, we would like to thank you all for your continued and ongoing support.

We have also been fortunate to be awarded various accolades. From ranking 66th in the Top 500 Primary Schools in England (see below), being named as one of the Top 50 EDtech leaders in digital technology to being visited by the National Schools Commissioner, Cheam Common looks forward to year ahead as the children and the school continue go from strength to strength with their learning.

Finally, all the staff wish you and your families a very Happy Christmas! Thank you so much for all the support you have given each of us, and the school, throughout 2021. We hope that all of the children have a fantastic holiday and return in 2022 ready to learn even more, make great progress and experience many new opportunities and challenges both in and out of the classroom.
