Next week, our incredibly amazing, resilient and hardworking Year 6 children will be sitting their KS2 SATs Tests. We know, as I am sure you will all agree, that our children have faced many challenges over the past few years due to the Pandemic and disrupted learning, yet they have continued to do us proud and be the best they can be.
This weekend, please ensure your child takes the chance to relax and be ready for the following week ahead, taking a chance to have fun, spend time with their family and friends and rest for each of the upcoming tests. Please ensure your child has an early night. There is no homework this weekend, however feel free to revise with your child if they wish.
For the whole of next week, Year 6 classrooms will be open to all pupils from 8:15am. This is not compulsory but some children might like some additional time to ask any last minute questions, relax with their peers and settle themselves into school ready for the day ahead. All children must be in school by 8:45am. Please provide your child with a clear water bottle with no labels or writing on.
Below is a reminder of each test the children will complete each day.
Monday 09th May - Grammar, Punctuation and Spelling
Tuesday 10th May - Reading Comprehension
