Welcome to our weekly newsletter!
Although this term did not happen the way we had hoped, lots of learning has taken place.
We understand that it has been an extremely challenging time for our school community however you should feel proud of what you have achieved.
Together we have found a way through an ever changing climate and everyone has done such a great job!
Half term is a good opportunity to pause and relax before we begin our next term.
Hopefully we will have more information to share once the Government announces its plans.
Thank you for your continued support and we hope you all have a well deserved break!
Miss Thorndycraft
We have had a busy week on Twitter!
Well done to everyone who sent entries into the LEO photo competition and a special well done to Lily who had the winning entry from our school.

World Book Day - 4th March
World Book Day is fast approaching on Thursday 4th March and although things may be slightly different this year, we will still be spending the day celebrating a range of fantastic books and taking part in some great book related activities.
Whether your child is at school or is learning from home, we would love them to dress up on this day as a book character of their choice! We would love to see their costumes so please make sure you send them in via your year group emails.
Children are never too young to start their journey with books and the benefits of reading are enormous - we are looking forward to another great World Book Day where we can celebrate this.

Storytelling and Puppetry Workshop
with Andy Copps
Thursday 18th February
1.30pm
Join Storyteller, Andy Copps, for a virtual workshop of storytelling and puppetry. Andy is a very well known local storyteller who has worked with our children before and we are really pleased to welcome him back for some half term fun!
The on-line session will involve lots of interactive fun and singing. Kids are invited to bring along their own puppet or soft toy and Andy will help them use their imagination to bring their toys to life. He'll also explore shadow storytelling and puppetry with the kids.
We are asking for a £3 minimum donation per household. We do have free places available for those who can't afford it - just email us at sutton@nas.org.uk
