Reminders
Please can I remind you that we have a one way system in place when dropping and collecting children. We have chosen to keep this system to ensure safety for all of our children and to reduce the busyness from the playground. Please make sure if you are entering the main playground, you enter via the main gate on Kingsmead Avenue and leave via Balmoral Road.
Also please be aware that even though Sutton Streets have introduced the road closures during drop off times, cars could still come down the road. For example people who are parked before the timings begin can leave and some cars are exempt. Also cars may not have seen the signs and drive down the road. Please make sure that you remind the children of this and that they need to be alert when crossing the road.

Christmas Carol Concert
This year we are pleased to invite you to watch your child perform as part of a class Christmas Carol Concert. We would request that a maximum of two adults attend the concert.
In order to maximise learning time, each class will only perform once; however if you are unable to attend, a pre-recorded performance will be available after the concert. Please complete this form by Friday 3rd December so your child can be part of the recording.
Each performance will take place in the hall and children can wear Christmas jumpers. Please see dates below in the Upcoming Events section.

Young people can request that Google remove images from search results
The legal 'right to be forgotten' has been around since 2014 but recently Google have extended this. Now, any person under the age of 18 (or their parents/guardians) can fill in a form and request that one or more images are removed from Google search results. This is good news, there will be many reasons why a young person might want an image to be removed from Google search results, e.g. embarrassing photos from when they were younger, perhaps uploaded by a parent. It should be noted that I suspect the right to remove images will work in the same way as the right to be forgotten. Basically, the removal is from search results within the UK, not the rest of the world. For example, if someone has their image removed and someone tries to search on google.co.uk, they won't be able to find it. But if someone searches on google.com, the image will still be there. So it isn't a solution, but it can make the image harder to find.
