LEO's Rudolph Run for St Raphael's Hospice

Well done to Brookfield, Cheam Common Infants and Juniors, Cheam Fields and Cheam Park Farm, who took part in the Rudolph Run - a fundraising event for St Raphael’s Hospice.

Between all of the schools that took part, just over £16,000 was raised (subject to 'just giving platform' fees). Approximately £13,000+ was raised online from contributions and gift aid and £864.40 was raised physically in schools.

Due to the pandemic, St Raphael's Hospice (Sutton and Merton) have really been affected, not only by taking in COVID patients but by closing their shops and events. They are looking at a loss of around £1.8 million and our fundraising effort has really helped them!

St Raphael’s – your local hospice - provide exceptional end of life care to almost 1,000 patients and their families every year who live in Merton & Sutton. 75% of their running costs rely on the incredible support and generosity of the community and our school communities have been incredibly generous.
