Mission: Lemonade Stand Bootcamp, Inc. is a support system for youth that teaches financial literacy, entrepreneurship, and self-actualization.

Purpose of Internship: To provide interns with engaging and valuable experience in one of the various departments within our organization and gain an understanding of how a nonprofit organization operates daily.
Please read before applying: Please note that this internship is unpaid. All internships require a minimum of 180 hours and 8-20 hours per week spent in the office or remotely until completion. Preference may be given to students willing to commit to two semesters. Please consider school and any extracurricular activities before applying. We allow students to be very involved in creating their schedules, so we expect you to commit to the required time spent in the office.
Length of semester-long internship – Spring (January-May), Summer (May-August), Fall (August-first week in December)

Essential Duties, Responsibilities, and Skills of ALL Interns
• Attention to detail and ability to multi-task and handle multiple projects while staying organized
• Ability to learn quickly, work independently (when needed), and take initiative
• Excellent organization, communication, writing, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Work well with staff, vendors, and wish families
• Regular and predictable attendance! Emergencies and sick days may be excused, but we treat internships like jobs.
• Ability to follow through and handle projects responsibly and keep appropriate staff informed
• Professional manner as an intern will handle answering and transferring calls in the office.
• HAVE FUN and learn every aspect of how a nonprofit organization operates
Education and/or Experience Requirements:
• 6 months to 1 year of current office experience or
• Currently enrolled as a Junior or Senior or
• Recent graduate (if you are a recent graduate, we will expect a commitment through the internship semester)

Employee/Intern Important Information
Timesheet: Timesheets are individualized and are used to track tasks and payments. Anyone who wants to get paid or get a letter of recommendation should have one.
Please inform your supervisor if you cannot work for more than 30 days due to school or personal circumstances. If we don’t hear from you in over a month, your account will be suspended and deleted after 45 days of no contact.
School is a priority, so please let your supervisor know if you need to pause the internship to refocus your efforts.
All work done is remote, and you will receive task deadlines. You can create your schedule regarding holidays and leave of absence.
No disrespectful or hurtful comments are allowed on email, or Google Workplace platforms.
Try to refrain from giving clients your personal information.
Please utilize complex passwords or a password manager for any company-related accounts.
Do not harass fellow employees, interns, & clients.
You are expected to log all hours worked on your “Timesheet.” This helps us keep track of work completed for your school and helps us when writing positive content about your performance.
In regards to Email, always “CC” your supervisor when contacting clients or outside organizations.
Don’t give away trade secrets as per our NDA.
