Join Strike PTA!

The Strike Parent Teacher Association (PTA) welcomes you to make a difference in the education and quality of life for our children. The PTA funds and provides resources for many programs, activities and needed classroom supplies. When parents, school staff, students, and the community work together, our children learn more and have more enriched lives. Come and join us and make a difference!

10 Reasons to get involved:

1. It's good for your child. When parents are plugged in to what goes on at school, their child does better.

2. It's important to the school. PTA provides support to teachers and administrators, and helps enhance school community.

3. You'll get connected. There is no better way to find out what's going on! Stay better informed about school programs.

4. You'll be part of a network. Get connected with other parents who share a common goal. Make friends, build community, connect with other Strike families.

5. You'll make a difference. Everybody has different strengths. Whatever yours is, you can use it to make a difference and create the most educational environment possible for our children.

6. It's fun! PTA plans fun events and get-togethers that the whole family can attend.

7. You'll be a role model. Show your kids that not only are they important to you, but their education is too.

8. You'll help raise necessary funds. Our school needs the PTA! PTA funds make our school a better place.

9. It's flexible. Help a little. Or a lot. Project responsibilities can be taken on to fit within your time constraints. (You do not have to volunteer to join the PTA!)
