Ms. Dykema has been teaching since 2020 and has been the Blue Angels Director since 2023. Ms. Dykema graduated from Texas State University in 2020 with a BFA in dance Education. At Texas State, she was a member of Orchesis Dance Company and performed at many university events. Ms. Dykema began dancing at the age of 2, training in ballet, tap, jazz, and lyrical dance. She won many state and national titles with her studio team. In high school, Ms. Dykema was a four-year member of the Timber Creek Sky Dancers, where she served as Lieutenant and 1st Lieutenant. From 2018-2021 Ms. Dykema was a member of the Texas Rangers’ Six Shooters Dance Team, where she performed at every home Rangers game and community events. Ms. Dykema continues to work with teams across the state of Texas through Crowd Pleasers Dance Company. Ms. Dykema enjoys spending time with her family and friends, going to the lake, and reading in her free time.

Mrs. Schumann has been teaching since 2015 and has been the Blue Angels Assistant Director since 2024. Mrs. Schumann graduated from the University of North Texas in 2014 with a BS in Math and a minor in Secondary Education. In high school, she was a member of the RL Turner Lionettes and held the officer positions of social officer, Lt. Captain, and Captain. Once graduated, Mrs. Schumann began working for American Dance/Drill Team (ADTS), choreographing for various teams, teaching summer camps, and judging contests each spring. She was the Assistant Director for the drill team at her previous school for 3 years before taking time off to start her family. Mrs. Schumann has a husband and two beautiful children at home, a son and a daughter. When she has free time, her favorite things to do are spending time with her family, reading, and shopping.
