As part of the series of the IET Women in STEM lectures, in partnership with UTC Reading, Kendrick and Reading Girls' School, Volume provided a presentation to students describing the roles and skills that enable Volume to be an early leader in experimental artificial intelligence and conversational platforms. These platforms exist in the form of commercial cognitive websites and robotics which combine to provide a new level of customer experience.
Gemma, Linda and Sarah provided an in-depth understanding of their roles as Chief People Officer, Developer and Digital Project Manager. These presentations provided an insight into how all areas of an organisation including technical roles and human resource roles combine to manage projects, motivate staff to achieve their potential and create an environment which generates innovation.
