During this unit, year 9 artists have extended their creative thinking to produce original outcomes. They have explored digital modes of making alongside traditional skills and techniques. Their varied artworks are the result of growing independence, selecting their preferred media and techniques as they continue to develop as artists. Investigations into Surrealists e.g. Salvador Dali, Frida Kahlo, and the contemporary illustrator Olivia Lomenech Gill (Fantastic Beasts) inspired these weird and wonderful works of art.
