Proposal

• We are going to find if there is any relation between identity, self perception and academic achievement. For finding this I have read some sources which will discuss them here briefly in order to have an image of what we are going to talk about. Racial Identity and Academic Achievement in the Neighborhood Context: A Multilevel Analysis is a research report about the importance racial identity in academic success, while it is more focused on neighborhood context still discussed identity and academic success achievement relations. Game Changers: The Role Athletic Identity and Racial Identity Play on Academic Performance, a very good research that shows how the athlete identity affects academic performance. Some other sources have also been used to show the relationships of identity and academic performance. Collecting and compiling all the information from above sources related to identity and academic performance we posit that having good self perception and better image of self helps students to have better academic performance.
