We cooperate with local and international organizations to increase the outreach of our films: World Hope International, CHAMPS and public health students in University of Makeni in Sierra Leone. Our goal is to make a collection of public health learning modules based on the stories of Sierra Leone mothers.
Ministry of Health is the official Government entity in charge of overseeing healthcare in Sierra Leone. All of our film and research work in Sierra Leone must be authorized by the Ministry of Health
World Hope International is our main administrative partner in Sierra Leone and provides the main logistical support for our work, including all transportation.
CHAMPS is our main research partner and works with us to support our studies in and around Makeni, providing research and logistical support that allow us to operate in the local community.
Makeni Midwifery Schools have been a key partner for us. It is one of three main midwifery schools in Sierra Leone. We have worked at the Makeni School and the National School of Midwifery in Freetown. We have developed films stories on their training programs and learned how they provide vital maternal healthcare throughout the nation.
We make yearly visits to Aberdeen Women Center, Magbenteh Community Hospital and many, many more health centers, where we film our footage for the films.

Marie Stopes Sierra Leone (MSSL) is a local NGO registered in Sierra Leone, is part of the MSI – Reproductive Choices partnership. Since 1986, MSSL has provided high-quality and affordable sexual and reproductive health services across the country, focusing on reaching the poorest and most underserved communities. MSSL actively collaborates with the government and stakeholders, participating in national and district-level technical working groups. Our Mothers of Sierra Leone films are shown at every clinic in Sierra Leone, further enhancing awareness and education on reproductive health issues.
Aberdeen Women’s Centre is a comprehensive women’s health and vocational facility in Freetown. We have provided them with films and are working on additional films for them now
Magbenteh is an impressive community hospital in Makeni that offers a full range of services. We are working with them on a film project right now.
