Mothers of Sierra Leone
Saving Lives Through Storytelling
The Mothers of Sierra Leone is a Global Social Impact Fellowship based at Lehigh University in Bethlehem, PA. We collaborate with numerous community partners in Sierra Leone to conduct qualitative and quantitative research on how filmic storytelling can improve maternal health outcomes. Our films address antenatal, perinatal, and postnatal care, and we also document larger issues of public and population health.
