About the SPARK Program

Why?

Small business owners in the City of Allentown are still suffering from the COVID-19 pandemic. Conversations with those owners showed that specialized training and services were needed as much as additional funding.

What?

The City of Allentown will provide successful applicants with one-on-one services in these potential topic areas:

  • eCommerce / Website Design

  • Social Media / Digital Marketing

  • Cybersecurity

  • Strategic Planning

  • Finance

  • Legal

These sessions will be provided at no charge. Payment for services will be handled between the Lehigh University SBDC and the provider.

Who?

Businesses who are:

  • Located in the city limits of Allentown

  • Have less than 50 employees

  • Negatively impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic

are eligible to receive services.

When?

Services can begin as early as: January 10th, 2022

Services must end by: May 31, 2022
